Because of the new battle servers, all gameplay data is being routed through Relic-owned machines. That being said, Relic has already proven capable of detecting client-side hacks through their server infrastructure. So yes, maphacks exist for CoH2, and they probably always will. But it's there, and because it's client side it's extremely difficult to protect. It's nearly impossible to prevent maphacking in an RTS because every client has access to the same data the game simply hides the information you aren't supposed to be able to see. Maphacks exist for CoH2 in fact, they exist for every RTS game in existence.
